Vivo IPL 2021 Postponed due to COVID-19

IPL 2021 OFFICIALS: In an emergency meeting, the Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have unanimously decided to postpone the IPL 2021 season with immediate effect.

The BCCI does not want to compromise the safety of the players, support staff and other participants involved in the conduct of the IPL. This decision was taken keeping in mind the safety, health and wellbeing of all stakeholders.

In IPL 2021, the BCCI will do everything in its powers to provide safe and secure passage to all the participants.

The BCCI would like to thank all the health workers, state associations, sportspersons, support staff, franchisees, sponsors, partners and all the service providers who have tried their best to organize IPL 2021 even in these very difficult times.
