The fourth match of the ongoing season of the Big Bash League (BBL) will take place Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers. Both the teams will be getting their campaign underway and will be keen on winning their opening game of the season. Aaron Finch who was busy playing the limited-overs series against India till December 8 is set to play this match and will be looking to lead from the front.

Mitchell Marsh was injured playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has been sidelined since then. However, the all-rounder has been included in the 16-man squad for this match and will lead the side. But according to the earlier reports, he is expected to focus only on batting and not bowl. Expect this match to be a close one given the T20 stars featuring in both the teams.

In the first match of the BBL season, the Hurricanes defended 178 against the defending champions Sydney Sixers. Going by the game, expect a similar sort of pitch to be on offer for this match and the team winning the toss should opt to bat.
