IPL 2021: Match 7- RR vs DC Live, Preview, Dream 11 Prediction, Report and Live Streaming
VIVO IPL 2021: RR vs DC Preview & Dream 11 Prediction
- The surface at the Wankhede is going to suit DC more than it does RR
- Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler are world-class and proven match winners for RR
- DC have a better bowling attack and should be available to Nortje and Rabada for selection in this match.
IPL 2021 has thrown some very exciting matches so far and the fact that teams have played their matches at neutral venues has some unique challenges for them. The two teams are believed to be very well suited to playing in high scoring situations, going on to play against each other in Wankhede, Mumbai (the highest scoring venue in the IPL).
The Rajasthan Royals chased down around 221 runs in their match against the Punjab Kings, falling short by just 4 runs at the end. The Delhi Capitals easily chased down a small target against CSK and showed why they are considered to be among the frontrunners for the title in IPL 2021.
Breaking: Big blow for RR, Ben Stokes has been ruled out of IPL 2021 due to a broken finger.
This means an opportunity for one of Liam Livingstone or David Miller. We think RR are going to go with David Miller, but we’ll see a lot that Liam Livingstone will get a game. Not only does Livingstone have the special ability to be able to hit sixes off the ball, but he can also play a few overs if needed.
Delhi Capital played their opening match without two of their best bowlers and the balance of the team deteriorated slightly. Nevertheless, he won the match easily and it is a big positive for him.

RR vs DC Probably XI:
Batting: RR’s batting in the last match was quite good because of Sanju Samson. He scored his third IPL century but could not bring his team to the line in the end. Nevertheless, his form is good for RR in the upcoming matches.
X-Factor: Jos Butler will have a big role in the upcoming matches and will likely move to his preferred starting position.
Bowling: Chetan Sakaria was impressive in the previous match, but overall, most of RR bowlers were expensive. Mustafizur Rahman, Shreyas Gopal, Chris Morris and the rest of the players were not at their best and will have to improve their performance in the upcoming match.
Predict XI: Jos Buttler (Wk), Manan Vohra, Sanju Samson (C), Liam Livingstone/David Miller, Riyan Parag, Chris Morris, Rahul Tewatia, Shivam Dube Shreyas Gopal, Chetan Sakariya, Mustafizur Rahman
Batting: DC’s batting is a bit unbalanced Ajinkya Rahane doesn’t really have a place in the team if he is not opening the batting. Also, batting only happens to number 6 and the team lacks a strong striker from end to end.
X-Factor: Rishabh Pant, The game changer for DC.
Bowling: We expect Enrique Narje and Cagiso Rabada to be available and return directly to the team. This means that Chris Woakes and Tom Curren will be missed. Natje and Rabada were fantastic for DC last season and would be happy to start at Wankhede where there is some upside on offer.
Predict XI: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant (C/WK), Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Chris Woakes, Ravichandran Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Tom curran, Avesh Khan
