IPL 2021: Match 55- SRH vs MI Live, Preview, Dream11 Prediction, Report and Live Streaming

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians (SRHvMI): Match no. 55 of VIVO IPL 2021 will be played between these two teams SRH vs MI, The match will begin on 08 October 2021 at 07:30 PM IST.

Team winner Prediction:

Key Points:

  • MI has the motivation to win this match to qualify and that is a big factor
  • SRH is too dependent on Jason Roy and Kane Williamson for its runs
  • MI’s bowling is far superior to what SRH has

SRH vs MI Analysis:

It all comes down to the final IPL group matches once again to decide who is going to make it to the IPL playoffs. Mumbai Indians would be desperately hoping for some help from Rajasthan Royals playing Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of this match.

If RR beats KKR, Mumbai will have to win their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad to qualify. If, however, KKR wins, Mumbai will need to not only win but improve their net run-rate so much that it is not realistic.

Also, as bettors, we don’t want to make the mistake of taking SRH too lightly. They beat RCB in their previous match and will be aiming for another win against MI to end their IPL 2021 campaign

Match Details:

Date: October 08, 2021
Time: 07:30 PM (IST)
Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Live Streaming: Disney+ Hotstar
TV: Star Sports Network.

Pitch and Weather Conditions:

The surface in Abu Dhabi has improved since the start of the second leg. It has a decent amount of bounce in it but is still slow by nature. The dew also comes down sometimes and makes batting a lot better in the second inning. The highest-scoring match of the UAE leg of IPL 2021 was played in Abu Dhabi so we could see some fireworks once more.

SRH vs MI- Head to Head

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):

SRH won their previous match against RCB thanks to a decent bowling performance and some terrible batting from RCB. If you look at the SRH scorecard of that match, it’s not like it has changed anything dramatic.

The two highest scorers were Jason Roy and Kane Williamson and none of their other local players were able to contribute. The same problem has been plaguing SRH for quite some time now. Mumbai Indians have a strong bowling attack and would definitely like to highlight the weakness of this batting.

The bowling was steady and he took regular wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled well under pressure at death, Rashid Khan found it difficult to negotiate in the middle overs, and Umran Malik once again generated impressive pace.

SRH are a dangerous team but don’t really match what MI brings to the table. Individual talent or something really bad from MI is the best hope to win this match.

Likely XI: Jason Roy, WP Saha, Priyam Garg, KS Williamson, Abhishek Sharma, Jason Holder, Abdul Samad, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, Siddarth Kaul.

Mumbai Indians (MI):

Mumbai Indians have a very tough job ahead of them. Ideally, they would just want to play for the win without worrying about the net run rate at all, but that is not in their hands. We saw MI change things in the last match and it paid off.

Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and a powerful middle-order of Pandya, Pollard and Neesham form a formidable batting lineup. He should be able to score the necessary runs for the win.

MI has no choice but to play aggressively so it is an easy option to consider the betting market for most sixes, most fours and highest score in 1-6 overs.

MI’s bowling attack is world class and they will work hard at SRH as well. We think they are going to bring back Rahul Chahar in place of Jayant Yadav for this match.

Likely XI: Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, SA Yadav, SS Tiwary, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, James Neesham, Jayant Yadav, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Trent Boult, JJ Bumrah.
