Ben Stokes ruled out from rest of IPL match due to Hand Injury
A major setback for the Rajasthan Royals, Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the rest of the Indian Premier League, suspected of having a broken hand. According to information coming from the Royals camp, the England all-rounder suffered an injury during the Rajasthan Royals opening match with the Punjab Kings on Monday to dismiss Chris Gayle.
On the other hand: Jofra Archer has received the green signal from the England Cricket Board (ECB). And hi has started practicing in the net. This is a good sign for Rajasthan Royals
“Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ben Stokes injured a finger on his left hand while fielding during the team’s match against Punjab Kings on 12 April 2021 in Mumbai. Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a broken finger, which will unfortunately rule him out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League 2021 season.

Having lost a chance earlier in the match, Stokes scored for a long time and went on to dismiss the West Indies batsman. He immediately felt discomfort in his left hand, getting up to celebrate with his teammates.
IPL 2021: He was still leading the match, although he did not bowl a single over before the incident. Starting the batting, he scored one run from three balls, as the Royals were five runs short of their target of 222.
According to The Independent, Stokes will be out in India for a week. The ECB will have an X-ray in India on Thursday to determine how much the ECB has suffered before planning a recovery. Negotiations have started between the ECB and the Royals around the management of the injury.
